Peaches and I have been together almost 13 years now, this website is to show off our Cockatiel children which are for sale, and to provide you a potential or current bird owner with information and resources on how to care for your cockatiel or other type of pet bird.

Peaches is approaching 13 years young, I'm almost 15 years young. We live with our human Papa, who provides us with a loving home. Our human papa obtained us both from the former Chirp N' Dales of Phoenix, Az now called the Tropic Zone as soon as we were weaned.

This is the first bird I've ever lost. At around 5pm on 1/22 I noticed some bleeding from Whiskers rear end, he seemed fine with it, I thought he may have broken a blood feather. I tried stopping the bleeding, it worked, by 8pm it was evident Whiskers was not well. I stayed with Whiskers all night providing him comfort and warmth. At 8am Whiskers and I arrived at Payson Pet Care, Whiskers was suffering from bradycardia, dehydration and the bleeding. Dr. Snyder and Lisa hurried us into an examination room, several minutes later Whiskers expired. I commend Dr. Snyder and Lisa for their professionalism, they did C.P.R. and provided oxygen for Whiskers, and even warmed up some IV fluids to give him, by then it was too late. Do not know what it was that took my Lil Buddy from me, it was quite devastating as he showed no signs of illness until the bleeding was noticed, he went downhill fast. Our home is a bit quieter, and very sadden by the loss of our Whiskers he was a character our friend and he will be missed.

All of our children are hand fed, hand raised, free range cockatiels. Our human papa starts by hand feeding babies around 10 days of age so they become very familiar with human contact. Our human papa feeds us a wonderful diet of seeds, pellets, fruits, veggies and snacks; he provides us with wonderful play areas inside the house, when were not playing with him.
